Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has approved the commencement of DNB postgraduate degree programs in pathology, dermatology, psychiatry, and hospital administration at Panchkula Civil Hospital.
The Chief Minister has said that the aim is to address the shortage of medical specialists in Haryana and further improve health services in the state. At present, seven degree and eight diploma postgraduate courses in various medical specialities are being run in 12 hospitals in Haryana, with a total of 81 seats, and 50 percent of the seats are reserved for serving doctors of the state.
He said that these programs would be in line with the guidelines of the National Board of Examination for Medical Sciences and ensure compliance with the Postgraduate Medical Education Regulations and curriculum standards.
