Haryana: At least one fire station will be set up in each industrial area of the State, says Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala

Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Dushyant Chautala said that at least one fire station will be set up in each industrial area of the State. Fire stations will also be established in the sectors of Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran, he added.

He informed this after presiding over a meeting of senior officers of "Fire and Emergency Services", Home Department, Industries and Commerce Department, and Haryana  Shehri  Vikas Pradhikaran at Chandigarh today.

Mr Chautala said that agriculture and industry are required to be protected from the incidents like fire as they are the economic pillars of the State. He said that the fire station should be set up at such a place where fire tenders do not face any difficulty in reaching the rural areas to extinguish crop fires in fields.

The Deputy Chief Minister said, 100 motorcycles will be given under the CSR fund by the Hero company. With the help of these motorcycles, it would be convenient to reach the congested streets and roads to control fire.

At present, there are 109 Government and 34 private fire stations in the State, with a total of 607 firefighting vehicles and 102 motorcycles.
