In the Haryana Assembly elections, 2 crore 03 lakh 54 thousand 350 voters of the state could exercise their franchise at 20,629 polling booths. There are 1 crore 7 lakh 75 thousand 957 male, 95 lakh 77 thousand 926 female and 467 third gender voters. Chief Election Officer Pankaj Agarwal said that this time 1 lakh 29 thousand 392 new voters have been registered, which include 64 thousand 31 male, 65 thousand 352 female and 9 third gender voters. The number of voters above 100 years of age is 8,821.

The Chief Electoral Officer said that the voter lists are uploaded on the department’s website. Any voter can check his name in the voter list. Apart from this, one can also check his vote by calling the voter helpline number – 1950. It is mandatory to have the name on the voter list to cast the vote, he added.
