Campaigning for Haryana Assembly Election Ends

In Haryana, campaigning for Assembly Election came to an end this evening. Chief Electoral Officer Pankaj Agarwal said that now political parties or candidates will not be able to hold any kind of meeting or public meetings and there will also be a ban on the use of loudspeakers.

 

Mr Agarwal said that as per the instructions of the Election Commission, except the candidate and election agents, other party workers or leaders and campaigners who are not voters of the concerned constituency cannot stay in that constituency. All ministers, MPs and members of the state assembly will also have to leave the constituency before the period of 48 hours ending with the time regulated for the end of voting.

 

Polling for 90 assembly seats of Haryana will be held on October 5, the day after tomorrow, the voting time will be from 7 am to 6 pm.
