In Haryana, 90 counting centres have been set up for all 90 assembly constituencies. Chief Electoral Officer Pankaj Agarwal said that these polling centres have been set up at the district headquarters in all 22 districts.

Votes polled for Kalka and Panchkula constituencies will be counted at the counting centres in Panchkula, and votes polled for Narayangarh, Ambala Cantonment, Ambala City, and Mullana seats will be counted at the four counting centres in Ambala, while votes of four seats in the Yamunanagar district will be counted at the counting centres in Yamunanagar. Similarly, votes will be counted according to the assembly constituency at the counting centres set up for the assembly seats of that district at each district headquarters.

Mr. Agarwal said that all the strong rooms are under CCTV surveillance. Electronic voting machines have been kept under three-layer security. Haryana Police and paramilitary forces are deployed for the security of the strong rooms. He said that after polling yesterday, EVMs and VVPAT machines were kept in strong rooms, and the strong rooms were sealed. Now on October 8, EVMs will be taken out for counting.
