In Ladakh, as the holy month of Hajj approaches, 357 applicants from Ladakh are gearing up for their spiritual journey with rigorous orientation and training sessions in Kargil. Led by Chairman Haj Committee Ladakh, Mohd Ali Majaz, the program aims to ensure pilgrims are fully equipped and informed for their pilgrimage.
Chairman Mohd Ali Majaz expressed gratitude for the Government of India’s approval for all Hajj applicants from Ladakh, highlighting it as a significant milestone for the newly formed committee. He reaffirmed the committee’s commitment to serving the Muslim communities of the region and providing unwavering support to the pilgrims.
During the orientation program, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Kargil, Suhail Ahmad, congratulated the pilgrims and provided essential insights into travel procedures.
The program also featured former Hajj pilgrim, Ghulam Nabi Zia, who shared invaluable experiences, enriching the orientation with practical wisdom.
Expert trainers covered a wide range of topics including vaccination, medical documentation, accommodation arrangements, transportation logistics, and disaster management measures. Their comprehensive training ensures that the pilgrims are well-prepared for any challenges they may encounter during their journey.
With meticulous preparation and guidance, the Hajj pilgrims from Kargil are poised to embark on their sacred pilgrimage, embodying the spirit of devotion and unity that defines the Hajj pilgrimage.
