In order to raise awareness among students about voting, Gurugram University Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dinesh Kumar inaugurated the Selfie Point in the University premises.
On this occasion, the Vice Chancellor urged the students to participate wholeheartedly in the voting process. He said that students should take selfies near the Selfie Point and post them on social media so that more and more people become aware of voting and the number of voters increases.
He said that voting is the right of every Indian citizen. Voting provides an opportunity for direct participation in democracy. The stronger the participation of people in exercising their voting rights, the stronger the democracy will be, said Prof. Dinesh Kumar.
Prof. Dinesh Kumar expressed hope that young voters will be attracted to this campaign.
