In Gujarat, political campaigning for the by-election to the Vav assembly seat in Banaskantha district ended today.

All the senior leaders from the BJP and Congress parties left no stone unturned to woo the voters today.     

Our correspondent reports that a total of 10 candidates are in the fray and a triangular contest is being seen between BJP leader Swarupji Thakor, Congress leader Gulab Singh Rajput and independent leader Mavji Patel. Voting will be held on November 13, while counting of votes will take place on November 23.
