In Gujarat, Independence day is being celebrated with patriotic fervor. Governor Acharya Devvrat hoisted the national flag at Rajbhavan to mark the 77th Independence Day. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel today unfurled the tricolor at the state-level Independence Day celebration held at Valsad on 15th August 2023.
 
Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister reiterated the commitment of his government towards the overall development of the state and the welfare of people from sections of life. The Chief Minister said Gujarat is reaching the heights of development in all sectors from industry to infrastructure. He said the government is emphasizing the development of agriculture, industry, and service sector in the state. Mr. Patel urged people to come forward to fulfill the dream of self-reliant and developed India by 2047 during Amrit Kal. Various cultural programmes, including Dangi dance and garba were organized on the occasion.
