In Gujarat, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel participated in the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme from Asarwa railway station in Ahmedabad. He said railway services have become an important transportation medium to connect the country's culture, tourism and pilgrimage. Mr. Patel further said that out of 508 railway stations that are being redeveloped 21 stations are in Gujarat.
