Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has described the Union budget as a comprehensive budget that provides a roadmap for achieving the vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047. The Chief Minister said the budget of the NDA government will benefit the poor, farmers, youths and women at large. He also welcomed the series of initiatives announced in the budget for skill development and employment to the youths of the country.

Meanwhile, the opposition Congress has called the budget disappointing. Senior Congress leader Shaktisinh Gohil said that the budget has failed to cater to the demands of farmers, the poor and the downtrodden.

Various industries of Gujarat including the Diamond and Textile industry have welcomed the budget. Talking to Akashavani, the President of Surat Diamond Association Dinesh Navadiya lauded the announcements made today for the Jems and Jewellery sector.
