At least ten people have been reportedly killed in a road accident that took place near Nadiad on the Ahmedabad Vadodara highway in Gujarat today.

The accident took place after a speeding car rammed into a stationary tanker near Nadiad on Ahmedabad Vadodara highway. Kheda District Superintendent of Police Rajesh Gadhiya said eight people lost their lives on the spot. The injured were taken to the Nadiad Civil Hospital for treatment and two of them succumbed to injury during treatment.

As per the primary data, the car was travelling from Vadodara to Ahmedabad.
