Govt to offer training to artisans, craftsmen and skilled workers to improve and sharpen skills: MoS Finance Pankaj Chaudhary

Union Minister of State for Finance, Pankaj Chaudhary has said that under  Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of  Ek Bharat Sreshta Bharat, the Country has been growing equally.

Speaking at the Vishwa Karma meet at Coimbatore today, he said that the Government will offer training to artisans, craftsmen and skilled workers to improve and sharpen their skills.

The Minister informed that raw materials worth 15 thousand rupees will be given to the candidates after their training to kickstart their entrepreneurship. The Minister said that artisans and craftsmen belonging to eighteen kinds of arts and crafts will be benefitted out of the scheme. Mr. Chaudhary told that the Government will provide two lakh rupees without security to help them develop the trade.

The Minister said that the Government will also provide a market for selling the products of local artisans and craftsmen.
