Briefing media in New Delhi today, Mr. Pradhan said, a few irregularities have come to the government’s notice and the government takes responsibility for it. He said, the government is in touch with the Bihar government on the irregularities surfaced with regard to the NEET-UG exam. He said, strict actions will be taken against the culprits. He said, the government is committed to the interest of the students and no irregularities and malpractice will be tolerated by the government. He urged the people not to believe in rumours. He stressed that the interests of those students who cleared the NEET-UG exam will be taken care of.
On the cancellation of the UGC Net exam the Minister said, based on the inputs received from the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre, the government decided to cancel the examination.
