Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region G. Kishan Reddy has said that Government has adopted a multi-pronged approach to contain cross-border infiltration which includes tactical deployment of Border Security Force along the International Borders and establishment of electronic surveillance technologies. In a written reply in Lok Sabha today, the Minister stated that the construction of fencing along the country's borders has been taken up as per the requirement and situations prevailing on the borders to check illegal cross-border activities and address security concerns.
