Women and Child Development Minister Annpurna Devi has said that the government is committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment for every child. She was speaking at the ninth round of consultation held under the aegis of the Juvenile Justice Committee and the Supreme Court in New Delhi today. The Minister stressed the need for a comprehensive approach to address the multifaceted challenges faced by children with disabilities.

Speaking at the event, Chief Justice Dr. Justice DY Chandrachud emphasised the importance of building an inclusive society where every child is empowered to reach their full potential. The objective of the consultation was to foster dialogue among stakeholders and generate actionable insights to ensure the protection and welfare of children, particularly children with disabilities.
