Government has said that 22 new AIIMS have been sanctioned across the country under Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana. Replying to supplementaries during the Question Hour in Rajya Sabha, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Anupriya Patel said that 19 AIIMS have been operational. She said, government has increased the number of AIIMS in the country under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana.
