The Government today informed that a total of 345 antiquities have been repatriated from different countries since 2014. In a written reply Minister of Culture and Tourism, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said, the highest, a total of 283 antiquities have been brought back from the United States of America. From Australia, 40 and from the United Kingdom, 16 antiquities have been repatriated in the last 10 years. The Minister informed the highest number of 159 antiquities were brought back in 2021 and in 2023, a total of 115 were repatriated.
