Government today introduced the Readjustment of Representation of Scheduled Tribes in Assembly Constituencies of the State of Goa Bill, 2024  in the Lok Sabha. The objective of the Bill is to enable reservation of seats for effective democratic participation of members of Scheduled Tribes and provide for the readjustment of seats in the Legislative Assembly of Goa. Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal introduced the Bill in the Lower House.
