Central government has completed the fourth tranche of the e-auction of critical and strategic mineral blocks. In a statement, Ministry of Mines said, the 10 mineral blocks which have been e-auctioned are are located in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, and Arunachal Pradesh.
According to the Ministry, this milestone underscores the government’s commitment to realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat. The Ministry said that this will ensure reliable supply of critical minerals essential for India’s energy transition, industrial growth and global competitiveness.
This collaborative effort lays a strong foundation for a self-reliant India, driving progress across key sectors like electronics, defense, and renewable energy.
