Gold was trading up at the Multi Commodity Exchange for April contracts on Thursday (28th March 2024). The precious metal was 548 rupees up to trade at 66,915 rupees per ten grams. Silver futures for May contracts was also up by 48 rupees to trade at 74,710 rupees per kilo when reports last came in.

In the global markets, gold was trading up at 2231 dollars and 20 cents per ounce at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Silver was down to trade at 24 dollars and 67 cents per ounce in the intra-day session.
