On Tuesday (26th March 2024), gold was trading up at the Multi Commodity Exchange for December contracts. The precious metal was 375 rupees up to trade at 66,397 rupees per ten grams. Silver futures for December contracts was also up by 83 rupees to trade at 75,006 rupees per kilo when reports last came in.

In the global markets, gold was trading up at 2217 dollars and 70 cents per ounce at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Silver was also up to trade at 24 dollars and 93 cents per ounce in the intra-day session.
