On Monday (15th April 2024), gold was trading significantly higher at the Multi Commodity Exchange for June contracts. The precious metal was up by 223 rupees or 0.31 percent to trade at 72,066 rupees per ten grams. Silver futures for May contracts was higher by 926 rupees or 1.12 percent to trade at 83,739 rupees per kilogram, when reports last came in.

In the global markets, gold was trading at 2,375 dollars and 60 cents per ounce at Comex. Silver was trading at 28 dollars and 70 cents per ounce in the intra-day session.
