Gold prices slipped marginally in the futures market on Saturday. The precious metal was lower by 5 rupees or 0.1 per cent, trading at 72,722 rupees per ten grams. However, Silver futures for July contracts were up by 74 rupees or 0.9 per cent, trading at 84,984 rupees per kilogram, when the reports last came in.

In the global markets, gold was trading 1.48 per cent up at 2,375 dollars per ounce on Comex. Silver too was trading in green by 0.14 per cent at 28 dollars and 51 cents per ounce in the intra-day session.
