Gold prices today declined 130 rupees at Multi Commodity Exchange for October contracts. The precious metal was trading at 58,845 rupees per 10 grams. On the other side, silver gained 245 rupees to trade at 70,200 rupees per kilogram for September Contracts when reports last came in.
 
In the global markets, gold was trading up at 1,937 dollars and 30 cents per ounce at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Silver was trading also up at 23 dollars and 10 cents per ounce in the intra-day session.
