Today, Gold was trading up at the Multi Commodity Exchange for December contracts. The precious metal was 229 rupees up to trade at 66,087 rupees per ten grams. Silver futures for December contracts were also up by 113 rupees to trade at 74,900 rupees per kilo when reports last came in.
In the global markets, gold was trading up at 2196 dollars and 10 cents per ounce at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Silver was also up to trade at 24 dollars and 85 cents per ounce in the intra-day session.
