Adani group chairman, Gautam Adani today handover 1600 Megawatt Godda Power Plant to Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina during a brief visit of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

In a tweet, Mr Adani wrote, he salute the dedicated teams from India and Bangladesh who braved COVID to commission the plant in a record time of three and a half years.

Adani Power has signed an agreement with Bangladesh Power Development Board to supply 1600 MW of electricity generated from the Godda power plant located in Jharkhand. The term of the agreement is 25 years.
