G20: Third Trade and Investment Working Group Meeting concludes at Kevadiya, Gujarat

As part of India's G-20 presidency, the third Trade and Investment Working Group Meeting concluded at Kevadiya today.
 
Briefing the media, Secretary of the Department of Commerce Sunil Barthwal said, during the two-day deliberations, the representatives focussed on building consensus on various trade-related issues such as digitization of trade documents, and integration of MSMEs in the global supply chain. He said the digitized documents will ensure ease of doing in global trade.
 
The three-day meeting was organized to build consensus among G-20 countries on adopting proposals put forward by the Indian Presidency on global trade and investment-related issues. More than 75 international delegates from various G20 countries, invited countries and international organizations took part in the three-day meeting. Based on the inputs given by the global representatives, a draft of the Ministerial Communique will be prepared to be adopted during the G20 Trade and Investment Ministerial Meeting scheduled at Jaipur.
