G20 Technical Workshop on One Health-Opportunities and Challenges will be held in Bengaluru from 29th to 31st of August to be hosted by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare. The foreign delegates from G20 member countries and guests from the invited countries and international organisations will participate in the workshop.
The three days workshop to be attended by around 100 delegates will deliberate on various issues of agriculture research and different thematic areas like human-animal ecosystem interface, emerging and re-emerging diseases, transboundary diseases, food safety, and antimicrobial resistance apart from forging new strategic partnerships for global health. The three-day event will culminate with the key policy recommendations relevant to addressing various challenges in the Health of humans, animals, plants, and the environment. It will strike a consensus on the central issue of ensuring the welfare and well-being of all living beings on the planet for a harmonious coexistence.
