In Kerala, four labourers, including two women, were killed when they were hit by the Thiruvananthapuram-bound Kerala Express from New Delhi on a bridge over the Bharatapuzha River near Shornur this evening. The labourers, contracted by the Railways, were engaged in removing garbage from the tracks when the mishap occurred. Three bodies were recovered from the tracks, while the fourth is believed to have fallen into the river. Efforts to recover the body from the river will resume tomorrow. The victims hail from Tamil Nadu.
