In Odisha, at least four people were killed and 20 others seriously injured in a road accident this morning in Ganjam district. The mishap took place when a private bus collided with an oil tanker.
The Bus was on the way to Berhampur from Bhawanipatna.
The injured have been shifted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital at Berhampur in critical conditions.
The impact of the collision was so intense that the driver of the gas tanker lost control over the wheels and the vehicle rammed into a roadside tea stall mowing down three customers at the shop.
One of the passengers of the bus also died in the mishap.
