Former Lebanese Prime Minister Salim al-Hoss has died at the age of 94 after a long battle with illness. Prime Minister Najib Mikati has declared three days of official mourning.
In a statement, Prime Minister Mikati called Salim al-Hoss Lebanon’s conscience and lamented his loss at the most difficult and delicate stage in which Lebanon needs his conscience, national and Arab sense, wisdom, and good management of public affairs.
Al-Hoss served as Prime minister of Lebanon four times.
