Eminent Space Scientist, former Chairman of ISRO and architect of the National Education Policy, Dr Krishnaswamy Kasturirangan, will be cremated with full state honours in Bengaluru today. The 84-year-old Dr Kasturirangan passed away in Bengaluru last Friday. His mortal remains were kept in the Raman Research Institute today for the public to pay their last respects. Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, and ISRO Chairman V Narayanan were among the dignitaries who paid their last respects today. The cremation will be held at 2.30 pm at Hebbal cremation centre.
