Former ISRO Chairman A S Kiran Kumar highlights National Space Day as a Time for Reflection and Future Missions

The Indian Space Research Organisation’s former Chairman, A. S. Kiran Kumar, has said that National Space Day is not only a celebration of India’s soft landing at the Shiv Shakti point on the lunar surface but also a day to ponder over our future space missions. Addressing children at the Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium in Bengaluru today during the National Space Day celebration, he said that the significant effort that brought success to ISRO’s Chandrayaan-3 mission has gained global recognition. Mr. Kumar called upon the younger generation to never let the scientist within them die and to pursue the quest for answers relentlessly. Like Sir C. V. Raman and Madame Curie, curiosity should drive us to find true answers.
