In Kerala, former football player and noted football coach T K Chathunni, aged 80, passed away at a private hospital at Karukutty in Ernakulam district this morning. 

One of the most prominent and successful football coaches in the country, Chathunni coached several football clubs including FC Kochin, Churchill Brothers, Dempo SC, Mohan Bagan, Salgaocar and the Kerala Police Football team.
