Former DG AIR passes away due to cardiac arrest in Kolkata

Former Director General of Akashvani News,  PK Bandyopadhyay passed away yesterday in Kolkata due to cardiac arrest.  A former Indian Information Service Officer, Dr Bandyopadhyay had a long and distinguished career in Akashvani News, Press Information Bureau and other media wings of the Information and Broadcasting Ministry.
