Former Congress President Sonia Gandhi has said that they are hopeful that Lok Sabha poll results will be completely opposite to the exit polls. She was replying to a media query in New Delhi, over exit polls which predict BJP led NDA will register victory in the Lok Sabha Polls.

Earlier, Ms Gandhi paid floral tribute to former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi, on the occasion of his birth anniversary. Several other opposition leaders including DMK leader T R Balu, CPI (M) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury and NC leader Farooq Abdullah also paid tributes to M Karunanidhi.
