In Gujarat, the flood water has started receding in the affected districts giving a sigh of relief to the people. However, parts of Vadodara, Surat are still submerged underwater. An NDRF team rescued nearly 16 people stranded in flood water in Vadsar village of Vadodara this morning. Due to the water logging on the tracks, several trains passing from the Ahmedabad division have been diverted today.

 

Meanwhile, the intensity of rains has also reduced significantly across the state today. IMD has issued an orange alert of heavy rainfall at isolated places in South Gujarat and widespread rains in North and Central Gujarat today.
