Flight operations due to poor visibility in most parts of Punjab and the Union Territory of Chandigarh have been delayed. Smog is not only creating problems for the people suffering from breathing related medical problems, its also affecting the flights. Sources at the Raja Sansi International Airport, Amritsar have confirmed that since last evening some flights have been diverted as they were unable to land due to poor visibility. Similarly, flight operations have also been delayed at the Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport, Chandigarh, due to low visibility. Arrival and departure of all the morning flights were running late.
