Five students of a private engineering college near Chennai were killed and two students were injured in an accident on Sunday evening at Tiruvallur, Tamilnadu. The accident occurred when the car in which they were travelling was hit by a Rajasthan bound lorry at the Chennai – Tirupati National Highway. All the students belonging to Ongole in Andhra Pradesh had gone to spend the weekend at their native place and were on their way back to Chennai. Police have registered a case and an inquiry is being conducted.
