The first National Space Day celebrations will be held tomorrow across the country. R V Nadagouda, the Deputy Director in the U R Rao Satellite Centre of ISRO, has spoken to Akashvani News in Bengaluru about the significance of the day. He said that several programs were organised for school and college students as a precursor to the main event, and such programs helped inspire the younger generation to make use of the available opportunities in the space research and development sector.
