With the announcement of assembly elections, election related activities have intensified in Rajasthan. The first list of candidates of Congress and BJP in the state can be released any time. For this, the Central Election Committee meeting of BJP has already been held, while the Congress Working Group is underway in New Delhi today. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and other senior leaders are in Delhi to attend this meeting.

Chief Secretary Usha Sharma has already instructed officials of all the departments to strictly follow the model code of conduct. Despite being a holiday, all the major offices of the Government Secretariat remained open on Saturday and Sunday and several orders were issued.  The ruling Congress and opposition BJP have already completed their exercise for the election campaign. At the same time, leaders of various political parties are waiting for the list of candidates.
