An FIR was lodged against Congress candidate Irfan Ansari of Jamtara assembly constituency following violation Model Code of Conduct. This FIR was lodged following Election Commission’s instruction. Irfan Ansari has made derogatory remarks against BJP candidate Sita Soren, who is contesting election from Jamtara.
