The final voter lists of all 90 assembly constituencies for the Haryana assembly elections were published yesterday. Haryana’s Chief Electoral Officer, Pankaj Aggarwal said that the final publication of voter lists of all 20,629 polling booths has been done.

He said that in the preliminary list published on August 2, there were 2 crore 1 lakh 61 thousand 950 voters in the state. In the final list published yesterday, 2 lakh 35 thousand 804 new voters have been added and 1 lakh 72 thousand 796 voters have been removed. According to the final voter list, now 2 crore 2 lakh 24 thousand 958 voters will exercise their franchise in the state. These voters include 1 crore 7 lahks 11 thousand 926 male voters and 95 lahks 12 thousand 574 female voters. While there are 458 voters of the third gender.

Mr. Aggarwal said that there are 5 lakh 1 thousand 682 young voters in the age group of 18 to 19. Similarly, there are 1 lakh 48 thousand 508 Divyang and 2 lakh 30 thousand 967 voters above 85 years of age. Apart from this, the number of voters above 100 years is 8 thousand 818. Similarly, there are 41 lakh 86 thousand 591 voters in the age group of 20 to 29. He said that even if someone’s name is not in the final published voter list on 27th August, then they can contact the block-level officer and apply for the vote by filling out Form 6 or through the Voter Helpline App. The vote can be made 10 days before the last date of taking nomination papers i.e. till 2nd September.
