Exhibition on “Glory of Indian Art” and screening of movie”Birkonna Pritilata” organised in Dhaka

High Commission of India in Bangladesh today organized exhibition on "Glory of Indian Art" at Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre, Dhaka to commemorate the momentous occasion of "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. 

The High Commissioner Pranay Verma inaugurated the exhibition which showcases 75 artworks by renowned artists of Bangladesh, fostering cultural exchange and celebrating the profound bond between India and Bangladesh. 

In addition to the art exhibition, the film "Birkonna Pritilata” also screened on the occasion to pay homage to freedom fighter Pritilata Waddedar, who fearlessly fought for freedom from colonial oppression.
 
The Department of History of Arts at Dhaka University made a collaborative efforts to make the exhibition possible. 

Number of art enthusiasts, students and faculties of various institutions including Prof. Niser Hussain, Dean, Faculty of Fine Arts, Dhaka University, and Pradip Ghosh Director of film "Birkonna Pritilata" with his cast and crew were present on the occasion.
