In Colombo, an evening of music was organised by Lanka Indian Oil Corporation. On the occasion, renowned Bollywood singer Abhijit sang several melodious songs. The event was graced by High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka Santosh Jha and Chairman of Indian Oil Corporation Sujoy Chaudhary among others. Mr. Jha emphasised the contribution of the Indian Energy PSU to the Sri Lankan fuel ecosystem while speaking about the future of India Sri Lanka relations.
The Indian fuel company also donated dialysis machines to two hospitals of Sri Lanka.
Operating for the last 22 years, Lanka IOC is the first private entity in the Sri Lankan fuel industry which helped the island during the economic crisis of 2022 in meeting the nation’s energy demands.
