In Jammu & Kashmir, another encounter between terrorists and security forces has been reported from the Lolab area in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

Security sources said, after receiving specific input about the presence of terrorists in the forest area of Diver Anderbugh in Lolab area, a joint team of army and J&K Police, laid a siege around the suspected site late last evening.

They said, as the security forces reached the suspected spot, the hiding terrorists opened fire triggering an encounter. The operation is in progress. Further details are awaited.
