In the Kashmir Valley, twin encounters are going on between terrorists and security forces in Motergam village and Frisal Chinnigam area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
According to police, a joint team of Police, Army and CRPF launched a joint Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) on specific information about the presence of terrorists in both areas. However, as the joint team of forces approached the suspected spots, terrorists fired upon them, which was retaliated triggering the encounters.
Meanwhile, the gunfight at both the places in Kulgam district was continuing till the reports last came in.
