Election Commission has ordered on Thursday to remove District Magistrates of four districts of West Bengal. The districts are Purba Medinipur, Jhargram, Purna Bardhaman and Birbhum. The Commission has said that as the DMs of these districts are promoted to IAS and not from direct cadre, they have been removed.
