The Election Commission today issued a notification for the Haryana Assembly elections. With the issuance of notification, the process of filing a nomination has begun. The last date for filing the nomination is the 12th of this month, while the scrutiny of nomination papers will be taken up the next day. The last date of withdrawal of candidature is the 16th of September. The polling for the 90-member Haryana Assembly will be held on the 5th of October, and the counting of votes will take place on the 8th of October.
